Although there are premium portable gas grills, three hundred dollars can get you a nice backyard BBQ that will last longer than the bargain ones. We had a little Charbroil BBQ surprise us with a long useful life for under $100, but you do get what you pay for. I had read about IR technology on BBQs and am glad I tried it. I just bought a Napoleon propane grill with IR and it is awesome technology! Pork chops or steak are succulent and juicy and cook surprisingly fast and very tasty which is what it is all about in the end. We love it. Maybe it is time for you to give IR grilling a try.
